An employer may deduct from the wages of an adult employee, or the wages of a junior employee on adult rates, the amount specified in column 3 of the table in C.4.1 for the service specified in column 1 provided by the employer. The overtime rate mentioned in clause 28.2 is the relevant percentage specified in column 2 of Table 13—Overtime rates (depending on when the overtime was worked as specified in column 1) of the employee’s ordinary hourly rate. An employer must pay a junior office employee aged as specified in column 1 of Table 6—Junior office employees the minimum percentage specified in column 2 of the minimum rate that would otherwise be applicable under Table 3—Minimum rates. A part-time employee who, immediately before 1 January 2018, had a written agreement with their employer on a regular pattern of work, is entitled to continue to be rostered in accordance with that agreement but may enter into a new written agreement under clause 10.4.
